Mrs. Blanche Lockard Vaughn, formerly of Indiana, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 1974, in Pompano Beach, Fla. She was a resident of St. Petersburg, Fla. She was a daughter of Thomas and Susannah Lockard and grew up in Indiana. She was a graduate of the Indiana State Teachers College Class of 1911 and taught school in Clymer and Ben Avon for many years before moving to Washington, D.C.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Hicks, Falls Church, Va; Mrs. Shirley Clark, Pompano Beach, Fla.; and one son Robert Vaughn, Granada Hills, Calif; and two sisters, Mrs. Twila Davis, New Kensington, and Miss Gladys Lockard, Arlington, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Vaughn. Interment was in Arlington, Va.
