Richard D. Cale, 61, Columbus, Indiana died Sunday, June 29, 2003, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Services are 1 p.m. today at Barkes, Inlow & Weaver Funeral Home, Columbus. The body will be cremated.
Visitation is noon until service time today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Mr. Cale was born on March 9, 1942, in Davenport, Iowa the son of Richard L. and Gertrude F. (Watkins) Cale. He married Mary E. Holcomb on November 23, 1962.
He was a retired Indiana State Highway Department mechanic, a former Clifford town marshal and former member of the Clifford Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard L. Cale of Norwalk, Wisconsin; a daughter, Rachel E. Cale of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sisters, Beverly Witmer of Durant, Iowa and Jackie Terry of Tacoma, Washington; grandchildren, Cale and Travis Morin, both of Indianapolis, and Dana and Robert Cale, both of Norwalk.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
