Clarence G. "Jack" Adams, 80, 9219 Longbranch Road, Laurel, Ind., died at 1:40 a.m. today, March 11, 1991, in the Margaret Mary Community Hospital, Batesville, Ind.

He was born Jan. 18, 1911 in Indiana, the son of Andrew and Clara Rodgers Adams. he resided most of his life in the Buena Vista-Clarksburg community. He was a member of the Buena Vista Christian Church. He was a millman and farmer and employed at the Decatur County Farm Bureau and also for several years by Dr. Irvin Lanning in Greensburg.

On Nov. 28, 1936, he married Jessie Noah, and she survives; with one son, Kenneth Adams, Buena Vista, Ind.; one daughter, Mrs. Duane (Linda) Anderson, Portage, Ind.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

His parents and one sister preceded him in death.

Services will be officiated by the Rev. John Johnson at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville, Ind.

Burial will be in the Stipps Hills Cemetery located in Franklin County, Ind.

Visitation will be at the mortuary from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
