Fred N Alexander, 75, of 220 N. Garfield, a North Central Washington resident for the past 66 years, died in a local nursing home on Saturday morning.
Born in Mountain Grove, Mo., June 18, 1893, he moved to the State of Washington with his parents in 1902 and settled on Dyer Hill. In 1918 he married Edith Halterman. They farmed until 1924 when they moved to Wenatchee.
Mr. Alexander retired in 1963 from the Valley Evaporator after wroking there 19 years.
Surviving are his widow at the home; one son, Allen Alexander, San Diego; a daughter, Mrs. Horace M. (Esther) Kinkade, Wenatchee; three sisters, Minnie Payne, Omak; Della Halterman, Twisp; and Ava Russell, Malott; five granchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Funeral services are announced by the Jones & Jones Funeral Home.
