PARSONS - Nancy L. "Nana" Rowe, 64, of Parsons, died at 3:20 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at the Labette County Medical Center in Parsons.

She had been in failing health.

She was born Nov. 21, 1941, in Parsons, to Ralph and Louise (Richardson) Rhoades.

As a child, she grew up and attended schools in Parsons.

She married Larry Rowe in 1957 in Miami, Okla. He survives of the home.

Following their wedding, she and her husband lived in Japan for two years. They returned to Parsons in 1959 before moving to Salina in 1962 where they lived for seven years. For a short time, they lived in Pasadena, Texas, before returning to Parsons to make their home in 1973.

Through the years, she had worked at Coast-to-Coast, Safeway and was office manager at TG&Y in Parsons until its closing. Most recently, she was employed as a physician's assistant at Parsons Eye Clinic until she became too ill to work.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Parsons.

Additional survivors include one son, Todd Rowe of Parsons; two daughters, Terri Willis of Parsons and Tina Hall of Parsons; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Tim Rowe on February 7, 2005.

Following cremation, graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Parsons.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
