Ronald L. "Bubby" Rooks, Jr., 37, died Sunday, February 18, 2007. Born on November 4, 1969 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Ronald, Sr. and Sue (Trivett) Rooks. He graduated from Morristown High School. He married Brandy L. (Fortner) Rooks on September 26, 1992. He was a truck driver before retiring in June, 2006. Ronald was an avid Poker player, loved racing cars and was a Chicago Bears fan.
Surviving him are his wife, Brandy (Fortner) Rooks; mother, Sue (Trivett) Rooks; sons, Brandon L. and Cody L. Rooks; daughter, Charity Vest all of Greenfield; sister, Gina Marqua of Pendleton, and one grandchild, Tayshon Vest of Greenfield. Preceding him in death was his father, Ronald Rooks, Sr.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Erlewein Mortuary, Greenfield. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at the funeral home. Dr. John Thomas will be officiating. Burial will be at Acton Cemetery in Acton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his children in care of the funeral home.
