Mary was the daughter of Anna (Funk) & Michael Kauffman, she married Jacob Sholtey in Pennsylvania on 1 June 1830. They had 9 children: Christopher, Henry, Susanna, Samuel, Benjamin, Sophia, Levi, John, & Anna. Jacob & Mary settled in McLean Co., Illinois abt. 1948.
