Peggy J. Andis BRISTOL, Va. Peggy J. Andis, 72, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, in Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Abingdon, Va., on Nov. 4, 1938, a daughter of the late Earl E. Wilson and Lora Large Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Andis. She was a school bus driver with the Virginia school system for 40 years and was an active member of Calvary Bible Church. Mrs. Andis was a loving and a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include her daughter, Vivian Chapman of Charleston, S.C.; sons, Mike Eugene Delp and wife, Lisa, of Bristol Virginia and Gary Wayne Delp of Bristol Tennessee; sister, Frances Trivett Osborne and husband, Doran, of Bristol Virginia; brothers, Robert Wilson, Edward Wilson and wife, Pat, all of Bristol Virginia and Earl Wilson Jr. of Bristol Tennessee; grandchildren, Mackie Chapman, Shannon Chapman, Elizabeth Smith, Leslie Dixon, Joshua Martin, Michael Delp, Joshua Delp, Jennifer Delp and Ashley Delp; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:45 Friday evening, March 4, 2011, at Blevins Funeral and Cremation Services. The funeral service will follow at 8 with Pastor Eddie Crusenberry and Brother Darrell Pickle officiating. The committal service and interment will be conducted at 1 Saturday afternoon in Mountain View Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Doran Osborne, Robert Wilson, Edward Wilson, Earl Wilson Jr., Mackie Chapman, Joshua Delp, Joshua Martin, "Sqeaky" Roller and Ronnie Worley. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. T.C. Greene, Dr. Suzanne Patton, Dr. Fincher, and all the nursing staff at the Bristol Cancer Center.
