Houck - Marion Francis Houck, 72, a resident of Olivehurst for 16 years, died yesterday in a Marysville hospital following an illness of several months' duration.
He was a native of Missouri and had been a farmer all his life.
Houck is survived by his wife, Perl, of Olivehurst; a son, Ray, Bakersfield; three daughters, Mrs Glossie Harris, Marysville, Mrs Faye Bottorff, Reno, Nev. and Mrs Lena Mae McCrory, Pittsburgh.
Also surviving are five stepsons, Tom, Albert, Ernest, Aaron and Lewis Wood all of Marysville; two stepdaughters, Mrs Nellie Butler, Martinez and Mrs Lois Barton, Bakersfield. Four brothers, J.C. Houck, W.L. Houck, Fred Houck and John Houck and a sister, Mrs Bill Baston all of Olivehurst also survive.
Funeral serivces will be held Monday at 2 pm in the Pentecostal Holliness Church, 11th and Olivehurst Ave, with Rev. S.T. Hail officiating. Internment will be in Sierra View Memorial Park, Hutchison's Colonial Chapel, Marysvillle is in charge.
