Emma A. Faszer, 90, of Lodi died Jan. 1 at a local hospital after a brief illness. She was born Emma Aman on Oct. 3, 1903 in Lehr, N.D.
A housewife, she married John Faszer in Lehr in 1923 and they moved to Lansing, Mich., in 1937. They moved to Lodi in 1951.
Mrs. Faszer was a member of First Baptist Church in Lodi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Faszer in 1978; a son, Donald Faszer and two sisters, Lydia Fercho and Martha Durrant.
She is survived by a son, Charles Faszer of Lodi; two daughters, Leone Beede of Sacramento and Maxine Polkinghorne of Woodland; two sisters, Lillian Crankshaw and Ramona Bacon, both of Michigan; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lodi Funeral Home with pastors Aaron Buhler and G.G. Rauser officiating. Committal will be at Cherokee Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
