I received this in an email:

Mary Catherine "Cat" Cannon June 26, 1929 - August 12, 1996 maiden name is CANNON.  She was a daughter of William Bascom "Boots" Cannon and Clemmentine "Tine" Jacques Cannon.  Their FAG links are 95303631 and 95303709.  Cat had a son, Larry George Cannon, who died in Vietnam.  Her other children by Bruce L. Griffin: Kathy, Gino, Marilyn, Joyce, Debbie and Ricky Griffin.  Catherine no longer used the Griffin surname.

Catherine's siblings were Lottie Mae Cannon Neiters, Ruby Lucille Cannon Dutton, infant Marie Cannon, William Bascom "JB" Cannon, Jr., Ernest Douglas Cannon, James "Jimmy" Earl Cannon, William Jackson "Jack" Cannon and Frank Roland "Frankie" Cannon.

Catherine is buried alongside her son, Larry, and her brother, William Bascom Cannon called JB and Junior.  I see where his grave marker reflects Junior B.   I do not know where Jr.'s wife, Mary, is buried and possibly that was confusing having those graves all together, but the Mary Catherine Cannon is his sister.

I spoke with Cat's relatives and they would appreciate you removing the maiden name Stewart from her memorial.  It was noticed when Catherine's sister, Lottie Mae Cannon Nieters, died this week (25th.)  Lottie Mae will be buried in Blount Memory Gardens. She lived many years in Oneonta, but had moved to Evergreen, AL next door to her daughter.

I compiled a huge family history book of the Cannon, Jacques, Dutton, and related families in 1999 for my friends - the Dutton's.

Truly appreciate your work on Find A Grave!!!!
