Lawrence Iven Butterfield
Lawrence Iven Butterfield, 73, 6244 Highway 35, Parkdale, died Oct. 13 at the Hood River Memorial Hospital. He was a resident of Hood River County for 60 years.
He was born Dec. 23, 1906, at Elgin to Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Butterfield, and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Survivors include: his wife Erma of Parkdale; a son, Joseph of Redmond; a daughter, Katherine "Sally" Young of Portland; three brothers, Leo of Redmond, Bill of Wamic and Elmer of Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters, Velda Deos of Hood River and Vera Wilde of Junction City, and seven grandchildren.
A rosary will be said Thursday, Oct. 16, 7:30 p.m., at Anderson Funeral Home, followed by a funeral mass Friday, 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Richard Conway will officiate. Internment will be at the Catholic Cemetery.
