Eulalah married Robert Overmeyer on February 25, 1932 in Lucas County Ohio.
She is survived by one daughter Sarah L. Predeceased by her husband Robert, and her parents Manderville Redding and Bessie Rust Redding.
In the 1950 census Eulalah was the manager of a record store while living in Metamora, Fulton County Ohio with her husband and daughter. Her husband Robert was managing a hatchery at the time.
In a Washington Post article in 1980 Eulalah was asked how she felt about requests by family members of the deceased to substitute charitable contributions for flowers. Her response was simply, "It's like putting a knife in my heart, cutting my throat," said Overmeyer. She's not against charitable contributions, but no funeral, she thinks, should be without flowers. Eulalah had a special relationship with flowers. Please leave them for her when you visit.
