Stanley Roy Hedrick, 82, of Upper Tract, died Dec. 17, at the Grant County Nursing Home, Petersburg, where he had resided since 1996.
Born Jan. 13, 1918, in Ruddle, he was the son of the late Isaac Roy and Ina (Hartman) Hedrick.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Evelyn (Spitzer) Hedrick; one daughter, Darlene Miller of Upper Tract; three sons, Dr. Jerry L. Hedrick of Brandon, Fla., Larry D. Hedrick of Timberville, Va., and Tony L. Hedrick of Upper Tract; one half sister, Martha Hevener of Franklin; four half brothers, Wayne Hartman and Charles Hartman, both of Harrisonburg, Va., Jearl Hartman of Dayton, Va., and James Hartman of Walnut Point, Pa.; five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; two stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Dec. 20, at the Upper Tract United Methodist Church, with interment in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Upper Tract.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Kimble Funeral Home, Franklin. (12/26)
