Mrs. Azzie Magers passed away Sunday, April 24,
1975 at the Golden Years Retreat in Bridgeport.

Services were held Tuesday at the Briar Baptist
Church for Azzie Lee Magers. The Rev. Jerry
Earnheart and the Rev. Ronnie Spillars officiated
with interment in East Bridgeport Cemetery.

Mrs. Magers was born Oct. 11, 1892 in the Zion
Valley Community between Alvord and Chico. She was
a member of the First Baptist Church of Briar.

Her husband, Oda Roy Magers, Sr. preceded her in death on
Aug. 10, 1974.

Survivors: sons, Oda Roy Magers, Jr. of Azle, J. B. Mages of
Lovington, daughter, Patsy Jones of Azle; brother William A.
Orr of Azle; sister Mrs. A. H. Whitmire of Wichita Falls;
eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.





Azzie was a very good cook and took great pride in her home.
