OBITUARY:
PORTLAND -- Catherine P. Bishop-Cole passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 28, 2011. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. Cathy's favorite time was spent with her daughter and her little Janessa (MeMe's Girl). She had done wonderful work in the community for the disabled and disadvantaged people. She was also very close to her niece, Katie McCraw.
She is survived by her father, Douglas F. Cole, and predeceased by her mother, Catherine P. White and her older sister, Margaret Bloomer. Also surviving are her daughter, Rae-Lynn McClure and granddaughter, Janessa Johnson; her brothers, Doug Cole and Steve Cole, her sister, Pat Broad; and many nieces and nephews.
At Cathy's request, there will only be a graveside service for friends and family on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery. All are welcome.
