Tim Abel, 60, of Kopperl passed away Friday, March 4, 2011, at his residence. Tim will be remembered as a loving husband, son and father whom his daughter loved very much. Service: Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday in Lawson Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian. Cremation will follow. Tim was born Oct. 6, 1950, in Hico. He was a retired sales clerk for Walmart. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Timothy Abel. Survivors: Wife, Betty Abel; daughter, Rachel Abel; grandchildren, Tabitha Cross, Brittany Cross and Marissa Esparza; mother, Jean Bradley; sister, Cindy Sanchez; brother, Steve Abel; daughter-in-law, Toi Milner; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
