Funeral services for Mr. Aaron Thomas "Tommy" Adkins, 58, of Algood, will be conducted at 2 p.m.
today, Wednesday, January 10, 2001, from the Algood Chapel of Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home with Rev. Glea Shelley and Rev. Ovle Tinch officiating. Burial will be in the Algood City Cemetery with Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Adkins died Monday, January 8, 2001, at Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was employed with the RossGear
Division of TRW in Lebanon and attended Algood First Freewill Baptist Church.
Born November 25, 1942, in Overton County, he was the son of Edith (Bilbrey) Adkins of Algood and the late Jessie Frank Adkins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Lee Johnson Adkins.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include four sons and a daughterinlaw, Dewayne and Joy Adkins, Rickman, Aaron Adkins and Michael Adkins, both of Algood, and Danny Johnson, Cookeville; three sisters, Dean Ham, Algood, and Mary Freeman and Katherine Ward, both of Cookeville; and five grandchildren, Paul Adkins, Cody Adkins, Chelsea Adkins, Dalton Adkins, and Lauren Adkins.
Friends of Mr. Adkins served as pallbearers.
