Karl "Jack" Kuehn, of Milwaukie, passed away on March 1, 2011 at the age of 63. He was born to Karl and Irene Kuehn in Portland, Oregon on October 15, 1947 and was primarily raised in the Oak Grove neighborhood. After high school, Jack joined the Army and served during the Vietnam War era. He married Karen Schaaf in Oak Grove and the couple had two children together, Kevin and Jodi. The duration of his career was spent working as a printer although he did some work as a security guard later on in his life. Jack's spare time was filled with ham radio (otherwise known as amateur radio). He was also a member of the American Legion Post 180 in Milwaukie.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Karen Kuehn of Oak Grove; son Kevin Kuehn of Boston, Mass.; daughter Jodi Keeler of Oregon City; sister Donna Spinning of 29 Palms, California; brother Gary Kuehn of Oak Grove; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Irene Kuehn. There will be a Memorial Service with full military honors at Willamette National Cemetery on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 11:30 am.
