She died Tuesday at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette.
A native of Macon County, she was born June 13, 1913, the daughter of Bailey P. Meador and Mary Harrison. A homemaker, she was married to Robert Taylor Lyles of Red Boiling Springs. She was a member of the Oak Dale General Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Mickey Lyles and R. T. Lyles both of Westmoreland; two daughters, Mary Lee Scruggs, Westmoreland, and Donna Askins, Chester, Maryland; three sisters, Molly Posvar, California, Gracy Harrison and Leona Harrison, both of Westmoreland; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
