Mrs. Eldin (Dorothy) Bonjour, 60, rural Mount Carroll, died today at home. The private funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Frank Funeral Home, Mount Carroll. The Rev. Roger Treadway of Mount Carroll Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Center Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
She was born November 30, 1917 in Mount Carroll, to Charles and Ruth (Asay) Neuschwanger. She married Eldin Bonjour May 29, 1937 in Mount Carroll. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Eastern Star Lodge.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gerald of Hanover, and Pierre of Stanbury Park, Utah; three brothers, Guy of Hardy, Ark., Freeman of Albuquerque, N. M., and Fay, of Chestertown, Indiana; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Geneva) Duffield, of Elgin, Illinois, and Mrs. Donald (Charlotte) Baus, of Stockton, Illinois, and two grandchildren.
