Albert Hays, Age 77, Dies
Albert Hays, 77-year-old retired farmer and resident of the Wilkins Convalescent home at 1023 East Tenth Street, died at 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon of complications of old age. He had been at the East Tenth Street home since Octocer 15. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon under the direction of the Rev. John Hays at the Todd cemetery where burial will be held. Until the funeral hour, the body will remain at the Allen funeral home. A former resident of Polk township and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robbin Hays, deceased, the elderly man is survived by two sons, one daughter and two sisters. Mrs. Hays, the wife, died some years ago. The sons are Harold Hays of Rural Route Three and Maurice Hayes of Decatur, Ill. The daughter of Mrs. John Hamilton of Decatur, Ill. and the sisters are Mrs. Alice Sexton of Bloomington and Mrs. Jane Grubb of Monroe county.
