Marie Elizabeth Jackson, age 73 of Tekamah, NE passed away November 12, 1991, at the Tekamah Nursing Home.

Marie was born near Tekamah to Owen and Lena Palmer. She attended rural grade school and Tekamah High School.

On September 12, 1940, Marie married Wilbert Jackson in Papillion, Nebraska. Marie and Wilbert have lived in the Takmah area their entire lives, except for eight years spent in Glendale, California, where both Gary and Jerry were born.

Marie is a member of the Presbyterian Church in Tekamah. She joined in the Church in 1936
.
Survivors include her husband, Wilbert of Tekamah; two sons, Gary of Omaha and Jerry of Lake Havasue City, AZ; five grandchildren, Jesse and Jenny of Omaha, and Tony, Eddie and Angie of Lake Havasue City, AZ; two sisters Mrs. Keith (Georiga) Conklin of Tekamah and Mrs. Bud (Lu) Erickson of Criag;several nieces and nephews and many friends.
