Ralph J. Jackson, age 80, of Tekamah, Ne passed away early on Friday morning, December 1st, 1989 at the Tekamah Nursing Center in Tekamah. Ralph was born on November 7, 1909 at Grove Springs, Missouri to Rufus C. and Lula (Dennis) Jackson. He moved with his family to the Tekamah area while he was still a young boy, and spent nearly all his life living in and around the Tekamah area. He was united in marriage to Gladys Ward on Septemeber 1,1930. She preceded him in death on February 1st, 1954. Ralph later married Eunice Walters on July 27th, 1959 at Tekamah. He worked on area farms and was a member of Tekamah Chapter #31, A.F. & A.M., having attained the level of a 32nd Degree Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Jackson of Tekamah; one son, Ralph E. (and his wife, Janice) Jackson of Omaha; one step-son, Roddy (and his wife Kathleen) Moore of Omaha; on step-daughter, Janice (Mrs. John)Friedel of Plano, Texas; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three borthers; Wilbert and Neal Jackson both of Tekamah, and Leonard Jackson of Fremont; three sisters; Doris Metzler of Iowa City, Iowa, Iris Ray of Oakland, and Barbara Lockhart of Alderwood Manor, Washington; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, first wife (Gladys), on step-son Elvin Moore, and two brothers Lloyd and Roy Jackson.
