Funeral services for Janice Marie Jackson were held Saturday March 23, 1996 at the graveside in the Tekamah Cemetery. She died March 21 at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha at the age of 59 years.

Hamel-Peck-Pelan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement.

Janice Marie Jackson was born May 28, 1936 in Wolbach, NE to Fred and Ada (Hiatt) Behrman.

On Nov. 13, 1955, Janice and Ralph Jackson were united in marriage at San Diego, CA. They made their home in Omaha.

Janice was employed at the Maple Crest Health Care Center in Omaha as an activity director. She retired in 1988 due to ill health.

Janice volunteered at the Literacy Council and the Maple Crest Health Care Center in Omaha.

She was a (new)member of the Northside Christian Church in Omaha.

Survivors include; her daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Roy Blomquist of Oakland, NE; son and daughter-in-law John and Nadine Jakcson of Orrick, MO; twin sister Joyce Tucker of Lincoln, NE step-mother-in-law Eunice Jackson of Tekamah; five grandchildren; Mackenzie, Ryan and Katlin Jackson of Orrick,MO and Matt and Rachel Blomquist of Oakland, NE

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph in 1995 and sister Marilyn Englebert.
