MEDFORD Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rib Lake Funeral Home for Elmer Freiboth, 43, who was found dead Friday in a barn at his farm in the town of Greenwood. Taylor County Coroner James Amo, Medford, said the man died by hanging and apparently had ended his own life. The Rev. Joseph Krubssath will officiate at the services and burial will be made in the Greenwood township Lutheran cemetery. Mr. Freiboth was born at Rib Lake, July 29, 1915, and had resided in that area all his life, except a period from 1942 to 1946, when he served in the armed forces. His occupation was farming. He was married at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Greenwood township on July 11, 1949, to Augusta Jensen, who survives him. Other survivors are two daughters, Barbara and Kathleen, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Freiboth, town of Greenwood; three brothers, Fred, Rib Lake; Arthur, Whittlesey, and Clarence, Manitowoc, and four sisters, Mrs. Charles Knap, Chicago; Mrs. William Chapman, Virginia; Mrs. Milton Kubich, Wausau, and Mrs. Robert Luedtke, Manitowoc. Mr. Freiboth was a member of the American Legion and St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
