F. Jeanne (Geyer) Zeller, 95, Exeter Township, formerly of Wyomissing Hills, died Feb. 28, 2011, of natural causes in Berkshire Center, Exeter Township, where she resided since Nov. 28, 2004.
She was the widow of Robert Moyer Zeller Jr., who died in 1966.
Born in Birdsboro, she was a daughter of the late Edwin Sterling and Beulah F. (Painter) Geyer.
She was a homemaker and during World War II, she worked in the administrative offices of Carpenter Technology. Then from 1975 to 1985, she was a teacher's aide at Wyomissing Hills Elementary School.
She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church.
She was a graduate of the class of 1934 from Birdsboro High School.
She was a lifelong resident of Berks County, an avid reader and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles until shortly before her death. She loved the theater and particularly enjoyed attending shows in New York City. She also loved swimming, the beach and visiting the Jersey shore.
Surviving are one son, Gregory P., husband of Suzanne D. Zeller, Minneapolis, Minn.; two brothers, Edwin and Thomas Geyer, both of Birdsboro; one sister, Nancy Rothharpt, Birdsboro; two granddaughters, Lisa Aversano, Charleston, S.C.; and Laura Zeller, Bethesda, Md.; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by an infant son, Judson Zeller; and a daughter, Roberta Feeman.
A memorial service will be Saturday, March 12, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. in Alice Focht Memorial United Methodist Church, East First and Hook streets, Birdsboro. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
