Gladys B. Burns, 79, formerly of 913 Madison, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday at Lima Manor after an extended illness.
She was born July 14, 1898, in Calfax, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Netta Hager Becktol. Her husband, Leslie Frank Burns, died in 1958.
She was a member of Southside Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Robert of Whittier, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Warren (Irene) Westbeld and Mrs. Russell (June) Williams, both of Lima; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Chiles and Sons-Laman Lewis Memorial Chapel, Rev. E. J. Penhorwood officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
