He died at 4am Monday, July 10, 1995 at his home following a more than four month illness.
Born Dec 6, 1930 in Brownwood, he was a resident of the city most of his life. Mr Woodcox was retired from TU Electric after more than 32 years and was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict veteran. He was a Baptist.
He married Carolyn Green on Jan 21, 1955 in Brownwood.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Pam Hester of
Brownwood; one son and daughter-in-law,
Greg and Karen Woodcox of Brownwood; three grandchildren; his mother, Jewel Woodcox of Brownwood; and four sisters, Geraldine Masters,
Betty Coffey and Leona.
