Edwin E. Lincoln of Woodside St., Rochester, the last of a family of 12, passed away in a Rochester Hospital Saturday, Nov. 18, 1944. He had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Lincoln, whose early life was spent in Fairport and vicinity, was born in Walworth June 22, 1865. He was twice married, his first wife being Mary Bridges who passed away many years ago. He later married Mae Flowerday of Rochester, who survives. He was a brother of the late Mrs. D. S. Thompson of George St. He leaves, besides his widow, several nieces and nephews, among whom Mrs. Alvah Smith, Clinton Lincoln, Harrison Lincoln, Stephen Lincoln and Oliver Sweet of Fairport, Irving Thompson of Macedon Center. Dr. Melvin J. Hill officiated at the funeral Monday afternoon at the Van Horn
Funeral Home. Burial was at Macedon Center Cemetery.
