Loving son of Samuel N. Sr. and Lottie Wratten Allen.

Sergeant Ronald W. Allen, 31 of
Centerton died last Wednesdays at the
United States Air Force Base near
Athens, Greece. He had been in the
service for four and half years.
The son of Samuel N. Sr. and Lottie
Wratten Allen, he was born on June
30, 1955, in Martinsville.
A Morgan County resident most of
his life, Allen graduated from Mart-
tinsville High School in 1973.
Surviving are his mother; five
brothers, Kenneth of Martinsville,
Micky of Indianapolis, Glenn of
Camby, Sam Jr. of Centerton and
Melvin Allen, with the US Army in
Germany; six sisters, Jean Soots of
Brooklyn, Anita Zike of Martinsville,
Mary Alice Rutherford of Wisconsin,
Cora Johnson of Greenwood, Denise
Miller and Thelma Allen, both of
Indianapolis; several nieces and
nephews. Another sister, Barbara
Parrish, preceded him in death.
Reverend Mike Thurman will
conduct the funeral services at 2 p.m.
today (Wednesday) at Carlise and
Son Chapel. Burial will be Cen-
tenary Cemetery at Brooklyn.
