Levi Hanson Dies in Hospital
Levi Henry Hanson, retired Gildford farmer, passed away in a local hospital Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted at the First Baptist church in Gildford Monday at 10 a.m.
Mr. Hanson was born May 9, 1884 in Artichoke, Minn., and came to Gildford in 1910. He farmed and homesteaded there until his retirement 18 years ago.
Survivors include the widow, Nellie, of Gildford; Mrs. Bob (Nora) Sanvik, Rudyard; Orville, Gildford; Mrs. Lillian Bailey, Spokane, Wash.; and Murvin, Mesa, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was active in Gildford church work.
