Survivors include his wife, Inez Altman Dyal of Baxley; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Tim Medders and Sherry and Glynn Beach, both of Baxley; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Edna Dyal of Baxley; one sister, Lottie Mae Johnson; five grandchildren: Dr. Larry Dyal Jr., Keisha Medders Walker, George Eric Dyal, Heather Medders Vickers and Tyler Beach and seven great-grandchildren: Broughton Walker, McKenna Walker, Faith Walker, Benton Dyal, Elizabeth Dyal, Jaden Dyal and Eli Vickers.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25 at Midway Baptist Church with the Revs. Marty Anderson, Matt Walker and Wayne Williamson officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Dr. Larry B. Dyal Jr., George Eric Dyal, Tyler Glenn Beach, C.E. Dyal, Ryan Davis, Broughton Wells Walker and Bryan Vickers.
Honorary pallbearers were Appling County Bus Drivers, the Senior Adult Class of Midway Baptist Church, students of Bus 98-59 past and present and all family and friends in attendance.
Musical selections were rendered by David Williams and Floyd Hunter.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
