Mrs. Sarah Skelton passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Fayette Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 12-Noon from Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Survivors include a son: Kenny Skelton of Fayette, four daughters: Brenda (Roy) Gurganus of Fayette, Sara (Richard) Jones of Talledega, Susan (Frank) Higgins of Slyacauaga, Kathy Skelton of Talledega, two brothers: Bobby Smith of Fayette, Raymond Smith of Millport, two sisters: Martha Livingston of Northport, Valera Wilson of Mississippi, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Larry Skelton, daughter: Teresa Fulmer, son: James Skelton, and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Tim Gurganus, Brandon Higgins, Frank Higgins, Brad Skelton, Kenny Skelton, and Joey Morrison.
