Walter Reddaway
Services for Walter W. Reddaway, 64, of Oregon City were today at 2 p.m. at Riverview Abbey Mausoleum in Portland. Burial was also at the mausoleum. Holman-Hankins-Bowker-Waud were in charge of arrangements. He died of a heart attack in a local hospital Friday. Contributioms may be made to a favorite charity in his memory.
An Oregon City native, he was owner and operator of
Reddaway Truck Line until his retirement in 1970. During retirement he invented spray guard rain flaps for the trucking industry. He was a member of Oregon City BPOE, 1189 and Lake Oswego Country Club.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a son, Gary of West Linn; a daughter, Julie Andrews of Indio, Calif.; a half- brother, Alex McAlpine of Sweet Home and three grandchildren.
