Denison -- Graveside services for JOHN "BO" FLOWERS of Burleson, 92 year old former Denison resident who died Monday at his home will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Rev. L. D. Lamb will officiate & arrangements are by Johnson - Moore Funeral Home.
Mr. Flowers was born in Bells, a son of Mr. & Mrs. J. F. Flowers, attended Bells schools & married Abbie Davis on Oct 20, 1940 in Denison. Mr. Flowers was a member of First Baptist Church of Burleson & Brotherhood of Railway Clerks. He was a railroad expressman for the Katy Railroad for 39 years before his retirement in 1961 & then worked for Lilley's Department Store in Denison.
Surviving are his wife; son Glendon Flowers of Garland ; brothers, Hershel Flowers of Denton & Albert Flowers of Arizona. ; sister, Nellie Martin of Denison ; 3 grandchildren and five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
