Pembroke - William Floyd Quattlebaum, 88, died Monday at Moss Oaks Nursing Home in Pooler after a long illness. The Bulloch County native was a veteran of World War I and a retired farmer. He was a member of Cleto Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Roland I. Quattlebaum of Columbia, S.C., William Harold Quattlebaum of Garden City and Herschel G. Quattlebaum of Pembroke; three daughters, Mrs. Eva Joyce Addia of Walhalla, S.C., Mrs. Geraldine Q. Parris of Pembroke and Mrs. Nellie Q. Tucker of North Bay, N.Y.; four sisters, Mrs. Lou Ellen Holcolm of Savannah, Mrs. Elloyce Waters of Pembroke, Mrs. Mamie McMillan of Davenport, Fla., and Mrs. Julia William of Tallahassee, Fla.; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Morrison Funeral Home, burial in Northside Cemetery.
