Funeral services for Mrs. Evalena Collins, 79, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2001, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Ovle Tinch officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Collins died Tuesday, February 6, 2001, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

She was a garment factory worker and of the Presbyterian faith.

Born March 24, 1921, in White County, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Carrie (Milligan) Snodgrass. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D.F. Collins; and two brothers, Herman Snodgrass and Clay Snodgrass.

Survivors include a son, Carson Oliver, Livingston; two daughters, Betty Sue Bilbrey and
Brenda Oliver, both of Livingston; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Carson Oliver, Darren Oliver, Greg Oliver, Lucas Oliver, Michael West, and Rick Sykes
