Samuel was the first husband of Eliza Ann (nee Kennedy) Beall Beagle. She was born in Mentor, Campbell County, KY on 26 August 1802. They were married on 16 March 1824, also in Campbell County. After Samuel's death, she was remarried. This time, to John Augustus Beagle, Sr. She died March 11, 1861 in Flagg Springs, KY.

I received the following message from a relative of Samuel regarding the link to Elizabeth Duvall Beall. With her permission, I have posted the message and her email address below.

I was able to establish that this man was not the spouse of Elizabeth Ann DuVal Beall due to the fact that Kentucky marriage records indicate she was married to a Samuel Beale on Oct. 2, 1833, two years after the date of death given on the headstone. The spelling of the surname did change, however, and I am researching that as well.

I could not have known this without your photo, and wish to thank you for taking the time and trouble to do it.
