Elizabeth M. Barclay, 85, died on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at the University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in East Windsor Township on July 24, 1925, she was a lifetime area resident. A member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury, she was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, antiquing and reading. Elizabeth also loved her shore home in Tuckerton, where she would spend time with her beloved husband, William, fishing, crabbing and boating. She was the daughter of the late William and Isabelle Lamb Murphy; wife of the late William S. Barclay, and sister of the late Walter and William Murphy, Helene Hoffman and Ruth Murphy. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, G. Ellen DeBlois and her husband, David F., of Cranbury; one son and daughter-in-law, I. David Barclay and his wife, Lynn E., of West Windsor; two sisters, Lillian Western of Milford, DE, and Kathryn Spencer of the Rossmoor section of Monroe Township, and six grandchildren, Kate, Kimberly, Kyle, Amanda, Cindy and Becky. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury, 22 S. Main St., Cranbury NJ 08512, with the Rev. Dr. Louis Mitchell officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Brainerd Cemetery at the convenience of the family
