Dorothy May (Abrahamzon) Simensen, 91, of Superior died Monday, Sept 22, 2014 at Villa-Marina Health facility. Dorothy was born in Hawthorne on Feb 13, 1923 to Carl and Ina (VanKirk) Abrahamzon.
Dorothy served in the US Army during WWII. Prior to her marriage she was employed as a secretary at Central Co-op.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Niilo Maki; and her second husband, Arthur Simensen.
She is survived by a son, Joseph Maki of Superior; and a step-daughter, Patricia Carlson of Minneapolis; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
