A native and life resident of Lafayette, she was employed at Reifers for many years. She later took over hostess duties at Duncan Community Hall in 1969, and served there until retiring in 1979. She was married in 1921 to Elmer A. Schnaible, and he died in 1945. She was a life member of St. James Lutheran Church and an honorary member of Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Surviving are two daughters, Alice (Mrs. James) Vice of Lafayette and Irene (Mrs. William) Kayser of South Bend; and one brother, Carl J. Heisser of St. Petersburg, FL.
