Services were conducted by the Rev. Jay De Vries and burial was made in West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Van Etten Funeral Home.
Mrs. Van Steenwyk was born January 15, 1891. She was married to William Van Steenwyk at Orange City March 11, 1917. The couple lived on a farm three miles east of Orange City until moving into town in 1946.
Survivors besides her husband include two sons, Willard of Orange City and Ernest of Artesia, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. George Vogel of Orange City and Mrs. Harris Van Oort of Omaha; 20 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
