Mrs. Emma M. "Nell" Shores, 82, of Maryville, died Friday, April 10, 1998 at Blount Memorial Hospital.
She was a retired nurse.
Survivors include her husband, James B. Shore, three grandchildren, a sister and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Billie Jean Tully.
Graveside services were conducted Sunday afternoon at Adams Cemetery in Brushy Fork, N.C.
