Arthur William Lehr was born on the 31st of January in 1930 in Centerton Indiana. He was the son of Lester and Mamie (Rike) Lehr. He was the brother to Clarabelle (Lehr) Bennett and Annabelle (Lehr) Huff.
He married Uneda Joan Poe from Brooklyn Indiana on March 20, 1946, and became a father to four children Tim Lehr, Rick Lehr, Randy Lehr, and Karla Lehr.
He worked many years at Federal Mogul in Morresville Indiana where he retired and later worked part time in the summer for the Morgan County Highway Department.
He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Having family get togethers was one of his favorite things, because he always had a good time and enjoyed seeing everyone else have one.
He was a very big fan of IU basketball and pitching horseshoes, which he was very good at and had won many tournaments.
Arthur William Lehr passed away on May 23, 2006 of lung cancer after being diagnosed in January of 2006.
His family misses him very much and the family functions are just not the same without him. He is missed everyday and always will be.
