Ann Goza Carney, 79, passed away February 19, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be Monday, February 21, 2011 from 9am-11am at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Services will be 11am Monday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial in the Old Crystal Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Carney retired from Mississippi Bedding after 47 years of service. She was a member of Crystal Springs United Methodist Church and of the Chautauqua Garden Club.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jimmy Jones at St. Dominic Hospital; Dr. Robert Watkins and the staff of Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital; and the staff at Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland for all the help and support that was provided to Mrs. Carney.

Memorials may be made to the Crystal Springs United Church or to Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland.

Mrs. Carney is survived by her aunts, Inez Gross of Austin, TX; and Sue Roberts of Harlingen, TX; cousin, Mary Blaylock and husband, Phil of Madison; numerous cousins that live out of state.
