Everett H. "Jake" Jones age 72 years ,of Rt 1 Warsaw ,Mo. passed away at his home Thursday,Nov.16,1967.Mr.Jones was born on the farm where he died,June 12,1895 a son of the late George and Kate (Ingle) Jones.he was united in marriage to Mina Glines,May 6,1926 and she survives of the home.He was a member of the Mt.Pleasant Baptist Church.Mr.Jones was preceded in death by his parents,an infant son ,two brothers,and two sisters,also surviving are two sons George Jones of Independence,Mo.,Willis Jones of Marshall,Mo.;two daughters,Mrs.Margaret (Jones) Thomas and Mrs.Sarah Katherine (Jones) Burriss,both of Warsaw,Mo;a brother,Roy Jones of Bakerfield,California;one sister,Mrs.Manie (Jones)Winterstein of Lampass,Texas;13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday Nov. 18,1967 at the Mt.Pleasant Church,the Rev.Orval Woolery officiating.Music was by the church choir with Mrs.Elsie Ulmer,accompanist.Pallbearers were Ross Swearngin,Lawton Swearngin,Robert Jenkins,Dean Thomas,Carl Moor and Sam Ransdell.Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of the Fred Davis & Son Funeral Home ,Lincoln,Mo.
