---Mrs. Mary Samantha Jenkins died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ruby Dotson at Mooreland, Oklahoma Tuesday, August 11, only ill a short time. Mrs. Jenkins, since the death of her husband a few years ago, has made her home with her children and up to the time of her death, had spent several months with her daughter in Mooreland.
---The remains arrived her yesterday on Santa Fe train No. 22 and funeral services were held at the Christian Church of which she was a member; Rev. O.L. Angel of Macon conducting the services. Burial was made in the La Plata cemetery.
---Mr. Jenkins is survived by one daughter as mentioned, three sons, Alva, Bert and Frank Jenkins, off of near La Plata, several grandchildren and many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
