Ralph suffered a severe paralytic stroke at his home in Rinard, IL. DeSelms ambulance moved him to the Clay County hospital where he expired a few hours later.

Ralph had operated the Keith Store which was founded by his grandfather, Charles Keith, back in 1876.

After attending college at Charleston, Ralph returned hime in the depression days of 1934 & took over the enterprise from his grandfather.

Ralph was born in Keith Twp. Oct. 26, 1913, the son of Earl & May Keith. On August 13, 1941, he was married to Geraldine Anthony, of Cisne.

He was converted early in life & became a member of the Christian Church but in more recent years attended the Church of Christ in Flora.

He was a member of the Flora High School board; the cemetery board; the Cisne Masonic Lodge & the Mississippi Valley Consistory & Ainad Shrine Temple.

Surviving is his widow; daughters, Karen Chamblin, Sally Witters, & Mary Keith; brothers Leland & Charles Keith; and two grandchildren.

Services were held at DeSelms funeral home with burial in the Bunker Cemetery near Rinard.
