Mrs. Carrie B. Sampson, 95, a former well-known resident, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pence Miller, in Kearney, NE. Mrs. Sampson had made her home with her daughter, for the past 15 years, living first in Jefferson and then moving to Nebraska. Mrs. Sampson and her husband, the late Ed Sampson, owned and operated the Sampson Meat Market here for many years. Among her survivors is her daughter, Mrs. Miller. Funeral services for Mrs. Sampson are pending here at Bruces Funeral Home. Before moving from Fort Dodge, Mrs. Sampson was a member of Aurora Chapter 311, OES; a high priestess, a member of the Olive Shrine, and a member of the First Congregational Church. Memorials for Mrs. Sampson may be given to the churches she attended in Jefferson, Columbus, NE, Kearney, NE, and Fort Dodge.
